MR. VIDUR BHARADWAJ-Chairman of Indian Green Building Council (IGBC), Delhi Chapter

Mr. Vidur Bharadwaj is an astute architect, who has been the initiator of sustainable developments and ­­­­­­­­­­­­the motivating force behind Green Development, in the age of ‘neo-design & architect’ in Delhi and NCR.

A graduate from School of Planning and Architecture, Delhi; Vidur has taken the concept of design & architect to new heights with his dynamic and innovative approach that has brought applause for him and his team.

A erudite personality, Vidur Bharadwaj has been the founder member of Indian Green Building Council (IGBC) and presently the Chairman for IGBC Delhi Chapter; a consultant to the ‘Hong Kong Development Group’ and the Managing Partner of ‘Design and Development’ a leading green architecture firm.

Engineer to a series of world acclaimed projects he is the sole architect to design THREE PLATINUM & FOUR GOLD rated LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certified Green Buildings under the USGBC (United States Green Building Council) umbrella. In 2005, he was felicitated by then President of India - Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam for developing the largest, most environment friendly, Platinum rated LEED building, in the world for ‘Wipro Technologies’, in Gurgaon.

Vidur’s farsightedness and passion for developing buildings that are sustainable in form, function and use; has led ‘The 3C Company’, pioneer in developing sustainable buildings in Delhi NCR, to steamroll ahead and set benchmark while leading by example in the field of  GREEN Building Initiative.

An avid reader and orator, he has been contributing articles in numerous publications of repute. He remains the foremost choice as a speaker at many national and international forums that revolve around the discussion of reducing carbon footprint on the earth.


After, extensive research on the next level of Green Technology, Vidur along with his architectural team showcased India’s first Net Zero Energy Home – “Shunya” during CII IGBC Conference New Delhi. The Net Zero Energy Home has received phenomenal response and acknowledgement.
